The RF810 Arc is a pioneering development in Safety Footwear. It’s an Electrical Hazard lines worker boot that has been independently put through the IEC 61482-1-1:2019 Thermal Hazards of an Electric Arc test method. It’s manufactured using fire resistant laces, Helcor® upper and lining materials and R-TEN™ stitching threads.
The results, whilst not covered by the ENAC accreditation scope, exceeded the capabilities of the lab, rating the boot as follows:
Material project ATPV = 126Cal/cm²
Whole Footwear No Burns Observed = 109.4 Cal/cm²
Why Not? Do all you can to protect wearers against the most catastrophic accidents?
In addition, Arc is the ultimate equipment for the harshest environments in all weather conditions thanks to the Moisture-tech by Sympatex® waterproof membrane, tested for a best in class, 100 hours.
Arc is a widely specified boot in Construction, Civils and Utilities due its Electrical Hazard rating. Certified to withstand electrical risks of 18kV in accordance with the ASTM F2412-18 test method.
It has a 100% non metallic construction, including a fibreglass toecap and composite midsole.
The outsole complex is a FORCE10® dual density PU nitrile rubber outsole which engineers unbelievable abrasion resistance whilst providing exceptional shock absorption and weight reduction. It’s compatible with climbing irons and can be resoled.
All day breathability and comfort comes from an Ortholite® Climate footbed.
